Hi Everyone,
Some of you may have met us by now through the group work or activities you have been involved in, but if you have not then we are here to support young people to:

Have a voice
-
Have a laugh
-
Meet other people who are in care (different ages)
-
Have your say with things that affect you
-
Get involved in loads of new experiences such as residential’s to places like Conwy and the lakes, visits to other young people in care, trips to London, and to meet other groups from different boroughs.
The other massive part of our job is to use your views, opinions and suggestions to make care experiences better for you and other children in care . The way we do this is:

by training young people to interview staff for Childrens social care i.e your social worker

by training social workers, foster carers and lots of other people who might be involved in your life, about what you say its like to be in care
-
by creating a charter and a pledge from children looked after which tells them what you want from them as well as what they have to do as people who support and care for you.
- work with the service to make improvements and to keep the stuff that we know works well for you.
