Movema world dance 10 week project
‘Chinese New Year – Earth element’
Between November 2019 and January 2020 a group of 11 children worked with Movema world dance company on a Chines New year themed project. Staff from Childrens social care attended to support and to get involved too. We all had so much fun and learnt a lot of new skills. The children involved want to continue working wit Movema and plan to do so in the future. Look out for new projects starting and some online dance sessions within the meetings and events calendar.
Summer Project 2018
Every year we team up with Liverpool council and Collective encounters to facilitate a summer project which helps the children who attend to explore ‘art’. Most of the children don’t usually realise that ‘art’ is every part of their everyday life, so they take a journey through a week packed full of activities and are supported to challenge or enhance their views and perspectives. Here are some of the photos that we captured within the summer project ‘Finding your Happy’ 2018.
(Thank you to Abi at Collective encounters and to our wonderful group for making the project so much fun and enjoyable.)
